I learned today that Judaism and Christianity are two religions that relied on Hebrew Bible. Even though they are relied on the same books, the Bible got interpreted differently. While Christianity focuses on God, humanity, and salvation. Judaism focuses on God, people, and land. Even though the Bible was interpreted differently by Judaism and Christianity, the Bible is variegated and are able to support both of the interpretations. It came into shock to me that Hebrew Bible was the beginning of both Christianity and Judaism without it being similar today. I believe when stories are being passed down through time, interpretations and meaning of things could get muddy.
